Terms of the Rosenthal Breakage Warranty
The Rosenthal breakage warranty applies for Rosenthal porcelain products (including items made from the materials stoneware/ceramics or bone china) which were registered within three months after purchase on https://rosenthal.arcturus.online/en/garantie and purchased from our official Rosenthal online shop at Rosenthal online shop at https://www.rosenthal.de/en-de/ with a billing and delivery address in Germany.
The breakage warranty excludes glass products (including the drinking glass collections diVino and Tac as well as the glass vase series Flux and Triu), items limited to a certain number of pieces, and all items from the brands “Rosenthal meets Versace” and “Swarovski x Rosenthal”. Unless the product is registered, no breakage warranty is granted. Accordingly, the breakage warranty applies starting from receipt of our e-mail to confirm product registration. If an item already suffered breakages before registration, Rosenthal is not obligated to offer any compensation for this item. No compensation is offered for intentionally damaged items either.
The warranty period for breakages in registered items is three calendar years from the purchase date. Our breakage warranty can only be claimed once per registered product. It does not continue to apply for the replacement product received free of charge.
If a registered item suffers breakage within the warranty period that was not caused intentionally, this warranty claim must be submitted by e-mail to the e-mail address Onlineshop@rosenthal.de.
At the latest, claims may be submitted three years after purchase on the same calendar date as the purchase. We will confirm receipt on the following business day. If a message is not delivered due to a spam filter or the like, it will be considered as not delivered after one week without any further reaction.
In the event of a warranty claim, Rosenthal will provide compensation for the broken product by delivering a replacement product free of charge. If the registered product is no longer available in the event of a warranty claim, Rosenthal may replace it with a comparable product at its due discretion. There is no claim to reimbursement of a monetary value or cash payment. Upon delivery and receipt of the replacement item, the breakage warranty for the registered item lapses. The replacement item itself no longer falls under the breakage warranty.
We grant the breakage warranty for registered porcelain items for private use in accordance with the item’s intended purpose. Accordingly, the breakage warranty lapses in the event of commercial use, e.g. in gastronomy, work cafeterias/kitchens, commercial holiday homes or in case of improper use.
Rosenthal reserves the right to exclude products from the breakage warranty at any time and without prior announcement at its due discretion, or to cease allowing registration of any products or to revise the terms of participation for the future. For already registered products, the contractual terms valid on the day of registration continue to apply until the end of the warranty period.
