Rosenthal meets Versace Novelties 2025

Baroque-style flowers and plants adorning high-quality porcelain: these are the main characters of the new "Barocco" tableware collection from Rosenthal meets Versace. The Barocco pattern was introduced by Versace in 1991 – an homage to ancient Greek and Baroque art. Along with the Medusa head and the iconic Greek ornamental design, this pattern has become an unmistakable emblem of the Italian fashion label. Now, the look is getting a new lease of life with the designs in the tableware collection. The new series celebrates modern table culture and is newly available in the colour "Beige" next to existing "Haze", "Rose" and "Teal".

This year, Rosenthal meets Versace is launching the "Barocco ´92" collection - Versace’s iconic Barocco print in its original black and gold-toned colourway featuring Rosenthal meets Versace’s modern dining concept. With origins in ancient Greek architecture and Baroque art, it rapidly became one of the most identifiable signatures of The House of Versace alongside the Medusa and the graphic framing Greek key pattern. It symbolizes the House’s love of rebellious classicism, generosity, and opulence. This icon of Versace design is reinterpreted in a contemporary and pared-down form across bread, breakfast, dinner, place, and soup plates, as well as cereal bowls, mugs, and espresso cups. The range also features tea cups, coffee cups, and teapots, making it ideal for both casual yet elegant dining moments and relaxed coffee and tea enjoyment.
