Johannes Dinnebier is one of the leading designers of lighting in Germany. In 1956 he opened his own business. He has illuminated more than 5,000 places, from the airport in Istanbul, the diplomats quarters in Riyadh to the cable car in Wuppertal.
In 1983, Dinnebier created together with Timo Sarpaneva »Aqualux« for Rosenthal, undoubtedly the most successful lamp in the company's history.
