*1914 - †2002
Jirí Kolár's art was interdisciplinary. It combined poetry, sculptures, graphics and paintings to create integrated objects. On the one hand he deconstructed existing objects - destruction -, and on the other hand he reassembled fragments - construction of a new order and message out of the destruction.
Kolár started working for Rosenthal in 1986. For the limited art edition he created the objects »Goldrausch«, »Stilleben« (each 75 pieces) and »Artis tempi« (50 pieces).
