Granget, Gunther r.
Gunther Granget is one of the most important porcelain modellers of the 20th century. Since 1971 he has been working in his own design studio, as well as constantly carrying out studies of nature. His works excel in meticulousness when copying nature combined with a sense for artistic settings.
From 1984 to 1996 he was head of the Hutschenreuther Art Department. He created numerous extraordinary animal sculpturesfor the brand Hutschenreuther, including »Kronen-Kraniche«, »Steigender Hengst«, »Wer stört wen (Owl with chicadees)«, »Herausforderung (American grey heron)«, »Sekretär« and »Grant-Gazellen«.
