Waldemar Fritsch was a sculptor and ceramist. Due to his development from craftsman to artist, Fritsch had a true understanding of the importance of shape, and in his works he traced the tender, melodious poetry of the shining porcelain. Fritsch taught at the Staatliche Fachschule für Porzellan in Karlsbad and at the Freie Kunstschule in Ansbach.
Frisch worked for Rosenthal from 1948 onwards and created figurines and wall pictures.
