Dieter Mankau



After studying industrial design at the art school in Kassel, 1968 Dieter Mankau took the invitation of the Rosenthal Design Studio conductor Dietrich Müller, into a multi-week business trip, to implement his creative role in technological ideas for experimentally glass objects. The early seventies, he designed the series of vases for Rosenthal "vibration". As an industrial designer, he worked for many renowned companies such as Olympia, Rollei, Blaupunkt etc.. From 1980 to 2008 he was Professor of product design at the "college of design offenbach".
