Alexander Blomberg was self-educated in art and design. He got his good reputation through his plexiglass objects. In 1979 Blomberg created in collaboration with Jan Wichers the furniture solitaire »Dominio« for Rosenthal, a side table which can be altered according to mood or requirements, phantasy or necessity. As a reference to temporary design his works have been included in the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Awards: - Die Gute Industrieform / iF (1983) »Domino«
