Rosenthal designer

Daniel Tribouillard

Daniel Triboullard bears a famous name in the fashion industry. In 1953 he started working as a sales representative for Léonard, a company which provided exquisite textiles for haut couture fashion-houses up to then. Company founder Jacques Léonard put Tribouiillard in charge of developing the "Léonard Fashion" in 1959. Tribouillard is very successful and in 1960 he patents a printing technology that allows textile printings on sweaters. Thanks to him Léonard Paris becomes one of the leading fashion-houses worldwide in the field of prêt-á-porter fashion. Since 1980 Tribouillard had been creating several décors, e.g. »Octavia Casanova«, for the brand Hutschenreuther which had been acquired by Rosenthal in 2000.
