Robin Platt

Robin Platt, born 1962, is one of the most outstanding exponents of new British design. Following his studies at the London College of Furniture he founded a design workshop in London together with architect Cairn Young. This cooperative venture meant he was involved in developing various collections for the Rosenthal studio-line early on. Having worked as an independent designer since 2003, Robin Platt’s innovative designs, created with a distinctive feeling for material, functionality and threedimensional form, are attracting international attention.
