Achim Haigis
Achim Haigis was born in Rottweil in 1969. After training to become a toolmaker, he enriched his experience with various craft projects in the field of creative glassmaking. He then studied product design at the University of Applied Arts in Potsdam, Germany. After graduating, he worked as an assistant at Yellow Design and later as a freelancer in the design and development department at Authentics.
In 2000, he presented his own designs for the first time at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. Since 2001, he has been working on international projects as a freelance designer. Achim Haigis lives and works in Berlin.
