Yehudi Menuhin was a very famous violonist and conductor. At the age of 13 he became world-famous because of his playing three violin concerts in one evening. In 1959 he founded the festival "Musiksommer Gstaad-Saanenland", became the art director of the Bath-Festival and started his career as a conductor all in the same year. As of 1982 he was chief conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
For Rosenthal Menuhin created the artist plate Nr. 10 "Aller guten Dinge sind drei" (of all good things there are three).
