*1915 - †1995
Bernhard Heiliger was one of the most successful German sculptors of the 50s. On the one hand he created abstract works of concrete, bronze and aluminium, and on the other hand works that resemble organic models. In collaboration with architects both kinds of his work were integrated into the construction of public buildings.
In 1967 Heiliger created the reliefs »Reliefblock«, »Relief I« and »Relief II« (each 75 pieces) for Rosenthal.
