Rosenthal designer

Jean-claude de Crousaz

SUI

*1931

Jean-Claude de Crousaz is a learned graphic artist. The "master of painted ceramics" was teaching at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Geneva. His works are way beyond "paint works": they have truly artistic value, the pattern and the glazing in rare harmony with the stoneware formed to unconventional objects. Crousaz was working for Rosenthal in 1988. He designed the artist collector's cup No. 30 for Rosenthal studio-line.
