Gerhard Schliepstein


*1886 - †1963

Gerhard Schliepstein was one of the most distinguished German sculptors of the the first half of the 20th century. He created fountains, archtectural sculptures, figures and busts. Schliepstein had been working for Rosenthal from 1925 to 1937 (exclusively as from 1929). His most famous works are »Prinz«, »Prinzessin« and the »Steinbockuhr«.
