Franz Kinast


*1907 - †1995

Franz Kinast was a famous modeller. From 1928 to 1934 he worked in the porcelain factory Epiag/Elbogen. After military service and time spent as a prisoner of war he joined Hutschenreuther AG, where he designed many of the tableware-set shapes in his position as modeller from 1950 to 1974. Kinast created a large number of dinner services for the brand Hutschenreuther, takem over by Rosenthal in 2000, among others »Carolus Magnus« and »Olivia (63)«.
