The "#peace Mug" – by people for people

Employees at Rosenthal GmbH wanted to use their craft to make a contribution and collect donations. The result is the "#peace mug", 100% of which goes to aid projects in Ukraine.

A porcelain cup cannot change the world and it cannot end a war.

But it can be a symbol of solidarity and a reminder that peace is something fragile that cannot always and everywhere be taken for granted.


100% of the proceeds from the sale of the "#peace Mug" go to aid projects for the people in Ukraine.

We are working together with "Ärzte ohne Grenzen e.V.": The association delivers relief supplies to care for the injured and chronically ill, including many children.

Our #peace Mug was designed by people for people. Employees of Rosenthal GmbH came up with the idea: they wanted to use their craft to make a contribution and collect donations

And so, over two weekends, they made 1991 porcelain mugs and hand-painted them with the colors of the Ukrainian flag.


The quantity 1991 stands for the year of the Ukrainian Declaration of Independence. Each mug is unique and has a limitationnumber on the bottom mark.
